In September 2000 the American Dance Institute completed its one and one-half million dollar renovation or an existing site. A world-class facility, the building hosts four large dance studios, a library, a children's playroom, an exercise room and a fully-equiped Pilates studio. One studio converts to a performance space seating up to 140 with a stage that measures 44 feet wide by 30 feet deep. In addition there is ample lobby space and free, dedicated parking. At times the Institute hosts fine art or photographic exhibits.

The finest facility for dance in the DC Metro area, the studios play host for many summer intensive auditions (ABT, SAB, PNB for example). The Arts Incubator program allows BosmaDance, Ed Tyler and Edgeworks wonderful rehearsal space at no charge.

The building, studios and performance space are available to rent. Fees are based on the renter's mission, use, timeframe and benefit to the Institute's community at large.

Please come for a visit! All the studios have viewing windows. Visiting hours are 8:30am - 7:30pm Monday - Friday and 8:30am - 2:00pm Saturday. Activities occur Monday - Sunday at all times!
