Dance For All

Dance for All opens the doors for younger students wanting to study Jazz dance or Flamenco, for teens just beginning dance studies and for those students leaving a pre-professional ballet program but wanting to continue to study ballet. Students may enroll for 1 or more classes per week and maintain their interest in dance.

Jazz

Jazz dance technique is an evolving dance form that reflects current style and popular culture. In jazz dance, combinations incorporate syncopated rhythms, body isolations, percussive accents, and strong use of leaps and turns. Students will learn versatility with exposure to styles such as Fosse, Lyrical, Broadway and the most current "video dance."

Ballet

Some students leave a pre-professional dance program during those years where school, social and family commitments overtake their time and energy. Other students find they need to study ballet to augment training in Jazz or a sport such as gymnatics or skating. Still others want to begin ballet training in their teens. To serve these students, the Institute offers teen ballet classes at the beginning and intermediate levels.
